even in such simple and quiet situations, dawson found himself ENAMORED by alycia. not like it was anything new, but it was times like this where he didn’t realize that he was actually STARING at her, a small smile forming.

kit thanked the bartender at the open bar, turning to face the crowd of people in the main area. REUNIONS— a reflection of the past he found comfort in. as his eyes scanned the various familiar faces, they landed on an old friend he hadn’t heard from in what felt like ages. elliot james. taking a sip first, he politely makes his way through the crowd toward him. “do my eyes DECEIVE me, or is that you, elliot?” kit asked, approaching the man in uniform, something he didn’t expect him to be wearing. then again, it’d been 10 years— who KNOWS what could happen over the course of that time. “looks like you were up to a lot these past years, huh?”
