Hold your horses Instagram addicts! This is just a concept for now. ADR Studio's Antonio De Rosa, the Italian designer behind the stunning iPhone 5 mockup released in March, has created yet another concept design, this time of a real-life Instagram camera modelled after the app's icon - (Huffington Post) I wish Instagram would team up with Lumix should they decide to push through with this. The Instagram Inspired Poloroid Camera
Recently, while I was checking out pinterest I found a cool prototype design of the Instagram inspired poloroid camera.

The design looks fairly unique, with upload to social media function. Even more interesting is the idea that a camera like this would print your photographs straight out like the a poloroid camera.
The best of both worlds it seems.

Could the camera be hitting the shops in Newcastle or Metro Centre anytime soon? We dont expect to see this camera going into production in the very near future. That we cannot say for sure, although I for one would like to own one.
It is an example of life imitating art imitating life.
The Instagram inspired Poloroid camera is an example of the sort of real life meets our digital social life.
ADR Studio came up with the Instamatic like camera which is made to look like the instagram app icon, an icon that was itself modeled on the very real poloroid camera.
ADR say the printed photos would print a QR code on the image to allow other Social matic users to friend/follow the photographer simply by pointing their Instagram inspired poloroid camera at the code. The photographs would also be stickers.

Interesting concept, but it's more of like a smaller and less functional iPad that prints out polaroids, and also has a better camera. This would totally make a killing though.
