I'm going to do an unusual one. I'd like to show @adrasteapl some love. It's quite possible nobody here knows who they are, in fact I don't know who they are. But from day one of my blog, they've been in my notes, and often one of the four people that show up as 'your biggest fans' or something, We never spoke but I always noticed the name and did a silent salute. And now for the project for Two of Us, they came out of hiding and offered to help. <3 Salute to the 'small' ones!

Princess, your anon is that type of fan who I hate so much. You can criticize your idol if it is constructive. Your idol isn’t always angel and do/will do stupid things. You can call out him/her on that. Jesus Christ It should be normal to every fan.

I read your anon about people attacking Kate for outfits. Yesterday I was furious because of comments about her clothes to the Nazi Camp. I am Pole. And for me her clothes were appropriate. This isn't funeral or something like that. People don't have to wear black or gray. We only shouldn't wear short trousers/skirts/dresses or very bright(vivid) colours. And Kate didn't wear something like that. If Poles don't mind it why someone else is judging sth what they know nothing about?

If Polish people and Jewish people are ok with it- which they are- and the people who showed her around are happy with it- which they were, particularly as a number of them also wore bright colours- then the rest of us have no right to say a word. Until one of us has an ancestor who died in the concentration camp or grew up living in Poland at the time, we don’t get a say. And that would be the case whether the outfit was considered appropriate or not. What I personally think- which I haven’t actually said, people have assumed- is irrelevant. My relatives weren’t the victims of genocide and I don’t have anyone close to me who grew up in Poland. I’d be willing to bet everything I have that 99% of the critics about this are people who also don’t have victims of the Holocaust or Polish people in their close ancestry. 

Also, how sad is it that they’ve made this event all about her clothes? The rest of us would like to quietly honour the significance of the event but they just keep bringing it back to her clothes. I’d really love them to meet up with the Jewish men who showed Kate and William around and tell them that the only thing they care about is Kate’s dress because their harrowing, unjust life experiences aren’t worth discussing.

Yeah, that’s why I’m curious where it came from? Cuz like I could make a post on here or on a forum and say it’s 20 seconds, and people would run with it...but that doesn’t mean it’s true.
