“You gonna be fine flying tonight?” 

Turning to Jungkook, your nod is stiff. But not because of the ache you feel in your neck, nor the weariness in your bones. This hesitation? Is purely in response to his eyes. 

Dark. Smouldering. They are completely different than they’ve ever looked, at least when aimed right at you. 

And your breath completely stops. Because this man is your closest friend, the one you run to when everything is burning down. And right now, your body is aching to tear him to shreds, going against every judgment you are spearing into every limb. 

“Yes,” you croak out. “I have to be.”  

For the gods’ sakes. Why does Jungkook have to be so beautiful when you’re at your weakest? When he speaks again, words wisp out how you’re used to, so soft that it makes your shoulders loosen and your body reconsider, 

“There’s still time to change your mind.” 

“He’s right,” Yoongi adds, stealing your friend’s attention while turning your way. “I get being stressed, but missions can only help so much. Is this what you really wanna be doing right now?” 

“No.” 

“Then what do you want?” 

To get fucked until you forget your own name. 

Shut up, shut up, shut up. Banish these thoughts before you say something devious and unthinkable. Both men are looking like sin in leather and you know you’re about to burst but you have to keep it together. 

Forget Jungkook being your friend, that’s bad enough. But reigniting things with an ex? This ex? You may as well rip out your heart and feed it to Ulhwa. “It’s okay, Min. What I actually want—need—shouldn’t concern you.” 

“Why not?” 

“Because it’s not really.. It’s not something wingmates do.” 

Yoongi blinks. 

“Or friends,” you suddenly blurt to the ground, raising your eyes to another stare that flickers. 

“What is it,” Yoongi asks, sounding like he damn well knows the answer. Can’t he just say it out loud so you don’t have to? Where’s that forthcomingness now? 

All you can do is whoosh out a quick, “It’s nothing.” When they shift their weights, you inhale. “Forget I said anything. If you both won’t leave me alone then I’m sparring with Seokjin.”

Release. You need release. But between your best friend and your ex? The correct answer is neither, no matter how fucking turned on you are over an accident. 

Get out. Go unleash your pent-up lust and frustration on someone else. Go for a run. Go hunt with Ulhwa. Something. 

You start to leave, but Yoongi doesn’t move.

When you look back, Jungkook doesn’t move, either. 

Locked in a standoff, the three of you stand resolute, heat swirling across limbs and stoking your every desire.

Until Yoongi gets one step closer, head tilting as a palm slides across the desk right next to yours. Hair falls over his gaze right as you feel warmth at your other side, and your heart stops as you extend your arms to grab both of their jackets. 

Jungkook hisses.

Yoongi rasps,

“Tell us what you need.” 

And your whole soul turns volcanic.

word count has updated from 20k to 30k

length has updated from oneshot to twoshot (to still be posted on the same night!)

drop day has updated from sept 14th to sept 21st

spice level has updated from “oh yeah that’s hot” hot to “what the fuck is going on” hot💀

telling you guys YET AGAIN that a release is delayed legitimately hurts, but i have since figured out why i can’t churn things out like i want to……

i care a lot more than i initially think about these pieces.

and that sounds like a weird thing to say, but it’s true. so i will make sure this is more adventurous, more in depth, and hotter than initially planned for you guys!

Beyond Bingo Becomes Inc.!

Beyond Bingo's expansion continues!  Incorporating was the next step on the our growth chart and this has now been completed!  Coming up - Presentations and Public Speaking engagements.  Keep a look out for notifications on scheduled sessions at area libraries as I prepare to bring my experience and know how to you through sessions that will focus on variety of topics ranging from how to choose a good senior community, and how to have a successful and enjoyable visit with mom or dad every time, to an overview of practices that will be of assistance and support to seniors and their families who are working to remain independent and in their own homes.  

There is nothing like a list of goals to keep a person moving forward.  There will always be hurdles and delays may also get into the works now and then, but as long as that list is there, you never stray too far from your vision, and it never gets lost in the day-to-day!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Springtime and enjoying the burst of energy we all experience as the warmer weather and beautiful flowers begin to fill our days.
