I love seeing something from May's perspective because she's always so prickly (and she still is a bit even in her head), but at the same time, she is so... so soft for all of her grandsons. Even when the weird one is panicking over fruit. Her affection for them all just pours off the page even though Patton, Logan, and Roman barely even spoke. I just think about how she used to hate Virgil and Logan because of what they were and how much she's changed and grown. It makes me so soft.

Okay, the discussion on Logan with his students makes me love Superhero AU Logan. Like a lot. It is making me have emotions. He obviously really cares about people deeply even if he isn't really around them much. Like, between him being a superhero and how he treats his students, he's really just a big softy isn't he? He just wants to help improve people's lives despite the still kinda vague dark backstory. He's just so good. A good person. I hope he gets to be actually happy someday.

god me too...... he's honestly such a sweetheart even if showing it outwardly is difficult for him. battling emotion is one of the hardest he's ever had to fight, because he's constantly being pulled in two different directions. on the one hand, he really does want to help people and be supportive more than just through physical protection, but on the other hand, the last time he let his emotions control his actions, he made a really terrible decision that killed multiple people.

(at least to his knowledge.)

so he pushes through that, forces himself to be blank when he's codebreaker, just so that he doesn't make the same mistake ever again. being logan is the one time he gets to let go just a little bit, to allow himself to relax with the kids he teaches, and that'll have to be enough for now.

You know, I really love LOAFT, but you want to know the biggest impact you've had on my life since I started following you for it? You made a post a couple of months back about putting honey, cinnamon, and vanilla in milk and warming it up. I've always hated milk cold and warm, but I was in an exploratory mood and decided to try it and loved it. I went to the doctors recently and they were like do you get enough milk and I was like no and then realized... I do! Wow! Thanks for the bone health.

YAY FOR BONE HEALTH adn also consuming nutrient in fun and tasty ways! its a lot easier to eat healthy when the healthy food actually tastes like, you know. food.

A concept: Patton when he's little wanting to be a "cat dad" and his parents having to sit him down and explain that he can't have a cat because he's allergic. Then, decades later, Linda happens. (I'm pretty sure I remember you saying Patton is allergic to cats except for Dizzy since she's a familiar in LAOFT cannon.)

I read through LAOF recently and I love it to pieces, but one thing that always makes me giggle is your Patton. Because it is getting more and more apparent in things like the kissing scene in “Payback” and the end of “First Dance” and “Honey” that, while his boyfriends always seem to look at him and instinctually go "innocent, angel, pure, soft," Patton, meanwhile, is staring at their asses contemplating the quickest way to get them to remove their pants.

Okay. Okay. So, the Pokemon Go thing. The thing is. The app gets really confused with any GPS interference. Like, I'll be sitting in my office building which has thick walls and it thinks I'm walking around. So, like, considering the shifting GPS coordinates of Wickhills, people would either be constantly hatching eggs by just leaving the app open or it would be unplayable because it doesn't work when you go over a certain speed and it thinks you just moved at infinite mph to the next state.

i’m gonna show my art major here and admit that i have -0 ideas how GPS works, but i’ve established that Wickhills is internally spatially consistent enough that cells phone work as long as theyre calling Wickhills-to-Wickhills. 

Is this transferable or am i going to have to bullshit my way through this XD

I was walking to work today and my mind brought up something you posted a while ago about how Dizzy and Linda speak to each other in cat and I think you said Roman can't understand that. So, now I just have an image in my head of Dizzy doing some cat chittering at Linda and her starting to giggle while staring at Roman and Roman being like "What?" Then, she just leans over to Dizzy and chirps back. Roman can't understand what their saying but he knows he's being ruthlessly dragged.
