I shared this last year, but it’s worth sharing again.... 🦏 It's #WorldRangerDay and I want to share something with you that I learned a couple of years ago. You see, I often say that I have dedicated my life to reconnecting people to wildlife and conservation. But when I was in #Kenya and met the Rangers & Anti Poaching Units in @Lewa_Wildlife Conservancy and in @OlPejeta Conservancy... Well, I learned what it really means to dedicate one's life. These brave rangers spend around 24 to 26 days living in the Conservancy patrolling and protecting the area. Then they take a few days off to go home and see family, and then head right back to protecting the wildlife of Kenya. They track animals, search for poachers, work with local communities and give their life to protect the biodiversity and heritage of their home. True dedication.
