wip wednesday! On a wednesday! Tagged by the wonderful @ejunkiet 💛 It’s not a lot, but I have been bouncing between mass effect and twc stuff and I picked back up Meet the Family, so this is a little bit I’m working on. I don’t have a whole lot yet with my Ryder twins just talking, so. Trying to find their voices!

“Adrien? You already met her.” She zeros in on him at that, stopping mid-rant and mid-step.

“What.” Inflection. Right, they both sucked at that.

“...When you woke up the first time?” He can see the wheels in her head turning, and he can see the moment she realizes-

“You let me talk to her while I was high?” And he tries. He tries so hard to school his face. Given he glare she levels at him, he’s pretty sure he fails at that.

“You weren’t high. Loopy, and a little confused, yeah, but you had a perfectly lucid conversation with me.”

“That I remember nothing of.”

“Well, yeah.” He shrugs, crossing his arms loosely over his chest. She scowls and he bites down hard on a grin. “Oh come on, what’s it matter? We don’t have to count that if it bothers you that much - you’ve now met Vetra. Better?”

“...how would you feel if you met Jaal like that?” Oh.

“Considering I met him at gunpoint, I think-”

“You what.”

I think Frithenen and Renata are the only ones I actually designed with those models in mind from the beginning, most of them are models I found later and went “Oh damn, that’s them!” and now use them as a little extra reference material to help make them distinct.

... I might have both Ryder siblings sorted now, pending actual CC limitations. Antonia (Nina for short, she hates her full name. Also: I give in, I like names full of Is and Ns.) and Adrien Ryder.

I think Nina is probably going be a Vanguard (or whatever they’re being called in this game), because I love punching things in the face with my freaky powers and then shooting them in the face just for good measure. Adrien will likely be a Sentinel: biotic but he loves his tech. He heard somewhere that half-visors were totally hot.

One of them dyes their hair. BUT WHICH ONE IS IT? They will never tell.
