Feel like I should go ahead and talk more about the characters

So I will. I've sort of talked about the basics of the characters. I'll try to talk more about them and their personalities some more without spoiling anything big really. I might give hints of possible routes/endings in the future, but since its all a WIP its subject to change .

Much like the massive trigger warning list. Which I'll probably break up and make an individual one for each one of em.

Each one of them are going to have their own sort of horror aspect. Hannah more of folk horror, midwest slasher sort of vibe. Shes a big farmer lady who is wanting to torture you and ultimately kill you.

Adryan is more of an eldritch, grotesque, Cronenberg sort of horror. Theres alot of fleshy body horror, manipulation, and psychological and physical (sexual mostly) torture.

MJ is a quiet building horror. The creeping feeling that somethings wrong. Being trapped with a man whos mental state is already poor at the forefront and is steadily declining (depending on how you interact with him it can change a little bit for the better or spiral into the fucking ground.)

While MJ looks the most haunting and creepy, hes probably going to be one of the more survivable options out of the two. Given that he will start off already romantically interested in the MC. Despite being heavily dual natured and a wild card in nature, death is not something he is actively seeking out from the MC.

Unlike the other two, where you are actively trying to survive them and convince them/manipulate them into not killing you. Or killing them yourself to escape the situation. Not to say romancing them out of killing you is out of the question.

Hannah is a bit of a hard ass, and her bloodlust and desire to torture the MC isnt out of malice but out of practice. Its possible to say the right thing to give her pause. Its gotta be the right thing though, and its gotta be given to her the right way.

Adryan. Even romancing him is not a great option. You'll live but at what cost. Becoming the thrall of a God who feasts off death and suffering isnt great. But hey. You'll be alive. All you gotta do is keep him entertained enough to believe that you're more valuable to him alive rather than dead.

I dont want to make this too long so I'll leave it right here for now. Probably will talk about them more individually in depth

What kind of traits/qualities would the main characters look for in a lover/victim?

MJ - it doesn't take much beyond showing him kindness a singular time. Thats enough to get him hooked. Typically drawn to passionate people. Gentle and loving would be ideal

Adryan - doesn't completely have a set of qualities and traits he looks for. At least in victims. Victims can be whoever with whatever personality. Lover wise its someone who initially can keep him entertained. He's not killing you at least, and that gives time for him to unknowingly find qualities he likes. I think one would hit it off better if they're a little fucked up, or immediately kiss his ass. Perhaps a little unafraid of him

Hannah - tough bitch to crack. Especially romantically. Like Adryan there isn't anything qualifying to be her victim. She's opportunistic. Lover wise it would be someone patient, understanding, caring. Not anything she would be actively looking for, but something she would respond to. Out of the three she isn't actively looking for a 'lover' so it's harder to say.

She's never had one. She is very far removed from romantic ideas and feelings. Not to say one can't spark it.

(Short Background)

Adryan is the youngest of his kin. His birth unfortunately took his mothers life, viewed as a sort of sacrifice to bring Adryan into the world. After his fathers demise he took over as head of the house/cult.

Even as a child Adryan showed a large affinity for unjust cruelty. His early bloodlust was one of the first signs of his ascension. The house staff and its residents quickly began to fear him and learn to avoid his ire. It only fueled his sisters growing hatred for them all.

Adryan as an adult is smooth and conniving. He is alluring and charming on the surface. Under the charms and smiles hides his true nature. Manipulative, horrid, prideful, hungry for destruction and suffering. He thrives off it. His home is the den of true pain. He is a hedonistic bastard who cares little for the lives he tortures and takes. He delights in it all. As it is the offerings made up to him, offerings he sees fit to take from those, willing or not. His goal to breed that suffering into the world. To have his own heir. To have his own family, his own pride of monsters.

He is the cults success, their messiah. He is a god. The embodiment of pride and war and death.
