“Oh Lord, Adso, what has yer mother done to you?”

Jamie’s voice was bewildered, but the touch of horror there felt just a bit much. The door swung shut behind him as he stood in the entryway, Adso circling his feet.

Claire snorted and rose from the couch to greet him. “It's a Halloween costume.” She stood on tip-toes to kiss him.

Jamie bent down and scooped up Adso. “He let you do this to him?”

“Adso loves me.”

“Aye, but that wasn’t my question,” Jamie pointed out, Adso trying to squirm free of his grasp — and the Dracula cloak.
