Hey! I saw your post about maybe getting a tongue piercing and thought I could help a little :) The first week or so you will most likely have a lisp and your tongue will be very swollen and tender. You're going to want to stick to soups/ice cream/anything soft. Make sure nothing you eat is too hot or too cold. Both will irritate the piercing! I liked lukewarm soup and kind of melted softserve. As long as you take care of it, there shouldn't be any health problems. It's a fun piercing :)

Definitely. Phew. I just need to rest now. I’m so glad that this had an easy solution. I was feeling so sick. I will look into this mast cell stuff too when I get the chance

Little dogs always seem to get it the worst if they get hurt. I think yours made it out pretty well though. He's probably not very happy with the cone but hey it'll help. Just give him lots of extra love :)
