LET'S BLAME IT ON SEPTEMBER, BECAUSE IT HURTS TO REMEMBER.
A year ago was the last concert of Allstar Weekend and their last day! I miss them so much!! They were there when I needed someone and I'm so thankful for making me happy every time I would felt down. I own you a lot and I will never thank you enough for what you've done to my life, for making it happier, better and for teaching me to be myself. I'm scrolling through my dash and I see posts about how Zach, Cam, Michael, and Brent "only want adult fans" and "I'm not an adult so I guess I don't matter".... These kinds of posts make me feel like crying even more than I already am. The guys NEVER said they only want "adult fans"! They love ALL their fans and DON'T care who likes the music their new band/project puts out! Sure, Zach, Cam, and Michael want nothing to do will Allstar Weekend anymore but, think of the analogy that was used in the long status posted on the Allstar Weekend facebook page. Think of Allstar Weekend like an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend. If someone said something about an ex of yours, it might make you feel upset because, maybe, you still have feelings for that person. Well... Talking and thinking and reading posts and seeing photos, edits, etc... about/of Allstar Weekend is gonna probably make the guys upset. They had a great time being Allstar Weekend and now they wanna start with a clean slate. That also DOESN'T mean that Allstar Weekend didn't mean something or have any kind of positive impact to/on the guys or they completely hate Allstar Weekend and that DOESN'T mean they don't love all of us or love us any less. That also DOESN'T mean you have to be 18+ or 20+ or whatever to be a fan! If you love the new band and new music then you love that stuff. The guys are NEVER gonna love you any less because of that!

Today is August 4, 2013. Today is Michael Martinez's 24th birthday. Ad today is the final day of Allstar Weekend. It's going to be hard for a lot of us. I know I'm going to cry, hard. Allstar Weekend was the first band I truly fell in love with. The genre of music I listen to is stemmed from them. They mean the absolute world to me. When no one else was there, I could go to YouTube and watch their videos, or pop a CD into my stereo and listen. I collected posters and little articles of them and put them on my wall. I may have never met them, but I knew they enough to fall in love. And this is just a message to them thanking them for everything. But first I'd like to thank all the adubbers out there because you guys are the funniest, kindest, most amazing group of girls (and few select boys) I have ever met. I may not have talked to you often but I read your tweets and I felt like I knew some of you. Let us all be sad together. And Zach, Cameron and Michael: Thank you for the best of memories. All the Stickams and Ustreams. All the videos showing us your crazy personalities. Thank you sketchydonkeyproductions, allstarweekendvevo and outerspaceallstar via Youtube. Thank you for the meaningful catchy music, signed or unsigned. Thank you for the music videos (although we're still waiting on Hey, Princess).Thank you for writing your own music. Thank you for appreciating us and loving us. Thank you for the funny interviews. Thank you for the video montages, and the tour updates. Thank you for the posters on our walls and the six albums in our stereos. Thank you for the pins, shirts, jewelry, bags, sweatshirts and wrist bands plastered with your names and faces. Thanks for the daily tweets and Facebook posts. Thanks to Hollywood Record and NBT. Thanks for letting us be apart of this journey with you. Thank you for the "brother" bands you went on tour with. Thanks for the timeless hours you put into meet and greets and concerts and signing posters and hanging with us fans. You've brought us all together to cry and laugh and sing to you guys, we thank you for that also. Thank you Cameron, Michael, Zach and Brent, Dillon, Nathan, Ben and Tom. Thank you outerspace politicians, Allstar, and Allstar Weekend. And best of luck to The Tragic Thrills
To all the Allstar Weekend fans (including myself)- just smile on 8-4-13. It might be hard but smile about all the good memories you have of Allstar Weekend, smile about fandom jokes, smile about every thing Allstar Weekend. Rather then being sad, be happy for our boys and the fact that they'll be doing what they want. Just smile :)
