like a train running off the tracks, it seemed that aprerture’s heydey was coming to an unfortunately ( yet predictable ) end. to make the matter even worse, underneath her structured facade, caroline saw herself as helpless. for someone who once had control of practically the entire facility, it felt as if every last wire was slipping from her grip. cave was sick. human testing had been authorized. they were going bankrupt. what had caroline been able to do ? nothing, other than soften each blow to the facility’s reputation. for that, she rags on herself. he catches her at a particularly weak time. cave had just had another spell, and after dropping off his pain medication, his assistant had rushed away for some solitude. caroline was not a person who cried often by any means, but even the strongest of people have their achilles heel. what else could she do but sit back and watch everything fall victim to disaster ? listen to rick, of course.

Who is a night owl: rickWho is a morning person: carolineAre they cuddlers: boiii u better believe that they are bc i will accept nothing lessWho is the big spoon and who is the little spoon: they switch off pretty much all the time, but caroline has a slight preference for being the little spoonWhat is their favourite sleeping position: usually spooning and that one position where you get all tangled up together that i can’t remember what it’s called, but sometimes they’re capable of sleeping without needing to touch and will sleep back to back.Who steals all the blankets: caroline, but it gives rick the excuse to cuddle up to her some more so he’s not exactly going to complain about it 😉What they wear to bed: rick is just undies unless it’s really really cold and then he might have a t shirt or tank top. caroline wears a silk nightgown or one of rick’s shirtsWho likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: rick bc caroline doesn’t wear t-shirts very often at all if ever so he thinks seeing her in one of his is 😍👌Who falls asleep mid-conversation: probably carolineWho wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: caroline wakes up with nightmares that someone is going to find them and force them to go back to aperture and then kill them both, but they don’t happen often. altho when they do rick is immediately up to offer her comfort and reassurance through snuggles if she’s willing to accept themWho accidentally punched the other in their sleep: it’s less “punching” and more “accidentally elbowing somebody in the ribs” or accidentally kicking them as a nervous reflex to a leg getting nudged when they didn’t expect it, but caroline. she makes up for it with smooches and fussing over it even when rick insists it’s okayWho can’t keep their hands to themselves: ok so i’d wager that pretty much everybody thinks rick would, but i actually feel like caroline would be just a bit handsy-er. to keep rick in that constant state of Shook af

Pre-Musical / Old Aperture Version

1. Wheatley knows how Rick likes his tea. Because Wheatley started off at Aperture as an intern, he often had to actually do coffee runs (or tea runs). He has a great majority of people’s coffee (or tea) preferences memorized.2. Wheatley would try to pull pranks on Rick. After Wheatley went from intern to employee, he probably spent too much time trying to pull together pranks. But, of course, they’d always backfire and usually it would be because Wheatley would somehow manage to fall for his own prank or some other employee would walk into it before Rick did.

3. Wheatley would hold things over his head because Rick couldn’t reach them. Wheatley’s height is one of the few advantages he has over Rick, so this is how he’d use it. But really, all it would take is a stern look or a punch to the stomach and Wheatley would instantly stop.

4. He actually thinks Rick is a brilliant scientist. Not that he would ever say that out loud in the entirety of his life.
