May we never cease to seek Him. Today I walk with my love amid evergreens choosing one to cut down and decorate with our son and his family. The ever green branches remind me of God's everlasting love and mercy. The trunk reminds me of the wood of the cross, the altar on which Jesus chose to shed His blood, poured out for the forgiveness of my sins. Children's voices, whimpers, and laughter remind me of His joy and delight in you and me, His creation. Of what we must let go to fully trust in Him. To be the children of God He made us to be. That is the gift He's waiting for. So many gifts God's given us. Life. Love. Forgiveness. Free will. Why choose hatred when it leads only to death and gnashing of teeth? Choose life. Choose love.
