What more then a relaxing ride being lead by a couple of Gargwa commanded by a single Felyne. Interested on how Disake came to know these names of these creatures? Why it’s quite simple, before leaving the gathering hall Disake was given a booklet of notes before heading off, one of which he began reading along the way. Most of the letters written were surprisingly easy to pick up, perhaps Disake had read it before? Either way shifting though pages came to a halt when info about herbivores, neopterons, and Bird Wyverns were fully read. Surely this booklet had saved lives before and must be keep close to heart.
Not to long had the wagon reached it’s destination that being a encampment settle within ruins stretching off into arches along a beaten path. The camp itself consisted of a large yellow tent with a sky-blue trim among the edges. Upon closer inspection it seems like the very tent could be moved to another area, though it would take more then birds to move it. A sizable bed made of wood and blankets sided with 4 pillows, mostly to accommodate a group of four. Outside was a cooking pot hanged by wood, perhaps stew was the most served meal for those out on the field? Two chest were found around the outside one of provisions and the other for drop off of items. While to the left resided a pool of water, one that held fishes of different variety. Surely a meal to enjoyed at another time.
Disake would of spent more time to inspect the area more but it would be a waste when a job must be done before the contracted time is up. Any further exploration then the time given would be dangerous indeed for the wagon may be targeted by creatures far bigger. With map taken from provisions Disake made way into the new span of land named, Ancestral Steppe. Upon reaching a relatable landscape presented on the map Disake was greated by a varying sizes of a beast called Aptonoth. These herbivores were easily noticeable by their grey with black striped patterned scales on their backs. Generally these creatures could be used to provide food or tamed for heavy transportation. Though the appeal for meat does not only stop at humans but beasts alike. One can hope not to have their livestock carried off in the maw of another.
Mostly a non-aggressive species Disake had paid them no mind but noticed a batch of mushrooms in the distance. The target is what is listed on the job, Unique mushrooms: A pinky-sized mushroom valued for its unusual aroma. Sadly Disake could never experience the aroma expelled. Thus Disake had began his scavenging spree hitting up every patch in sight only to be rewarded with three. The job had asked for eight in total...could it be! Had the Aptonoth consumed some of the mushrooms while slacking at base! Off to the next area indeed, if speed was asked Disake could provide by running. A specialty in Disake’s arsenal of survival. From jumping ledges to kicking up grass Disake was well on the way to success...
