Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/2 cup diced bell peppers. 1/4 cup diced jalapeos. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Pickles. Ketchup. Mustard.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onions, diced bell peppers, diced jalapeos, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare to medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover to melt. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and your choice of ketchup and mustard. Serve hot and enjoy!
