the woman he was tasked to guide to Gotham’s undercity, however, seems to accept this in stride – lacking JUDGEMENT and that small amount of prejudice that always accompanies his struggles with the English language.
it’s a KINDNESS that he’s a bit shocked to discover, and endears him to this adventurer even more. he nods mutely, following in her example, clearly not the expected expert in this situation.
