“The irony is there definitely is a thing I could say to my younger self, and maybe I could say ‘carry on trusting your gut, be confident that you’re going to get what you want to get eventually’, but truthfully I had to find out those things on my own and it wouldn’t have been a piece of advice that someone gave me along the way that would have been able for me to kind of find that idea. I had to go through that process myself and work that out for myself.”

“I would say try to take each day as it comes, try to live in the moment a little bit. Because it's very easy to get caught up in the anxiety of the unknown. But if you have even a shred of faith in that future, everything will be fine."

“Helene always said to me, right. That’s a choice. Is it nerves or is it excitement? And if you think about the feeling they are pretty fucking similar to be fair. And only now do I understand. And if I picture being in that moment now, I’ll feel the same but I look at it differently now. Y’know what I mean? Am I going to be nervous thinking, am I going to do this right, am I gonna …? No. All it’s going to be, and there’s no doubt I’m going to be jittery, because I wouldn’t be human if I wasn’t. But it’s going to be a different kind of feeling. It’s going to be amazing. It’s gonna be amazing. And even that feeling before which I normally hate. I normally have this thing in the back of me mind thinking if I could run away, I might.
