day 2: what are you excited about?

i’m super excited to start playing on our school’s tennis team

starting to exercise again

can’t wait to get to ancient china in apwh 

starting a creative writing club

reforming our school’s gsa club

not school related, but s4 of voltron in october

my english teacher is requiring us to read a book every two weeks, so i’m going to have read 20 books by the end of the school year

day 4: study essentials

a friend! - rosie and i study with each other when ap exams start. we quiz each other back and forth, but also sit together in silence and review by ourselves. for me, studying can get boring or lonely, so having a friend to study with makes all the difference.

forest app - this app is set up like a game to keep you focused. the goal is to build a forest by staying focused! you set a timer, and while you work a plant grows. if you exit the app and use your phone before time is up, the plant dies. a life saver honestly.

highlighters - i still need to develop a color code, but highlighters are great for organizing your notes and highlighting the most important pieces of information in your notes.

flash cards - i love flash cards because they allow me to quickly test myself on the most important info for specific topics. great for vocabulary.

water + snacks - taking short breaks for eating and hydrating is essential to keeping yourself focused, but not bored.

loving this challenge! the picture is from my algebra 2 review of graphing. i stayed in class for ten extra minutes just to get this picture lmao. -zoë
