Me: "Give Tomoro the space to grieve!!" You know what, I agree, I've been implying strongly that I do ever since Episode 1 happened, but? Why is it never "Give TAICHI the space to grieve!!" when Taichi, while still in high school, watched a man LITERALLY DIE IN FRONT OF TAICHI'S EYES WHEN THAT MAN SACRIFICED HIMSELF TO SAVE TAICHI??? Why is it never "Give Koushiro the space to grieve!!" when we have canon confirmation that Koushiro visits Koushiro's bio-parent's graves yearly out of cultural tradition (and, yes, grief)?? Why is it never "Let MEIKO Grieve!!" when the entire team, including Meikos own self, was forced by plot circumstances to kill Meiko's own partner on Meiko's and their own request to save the worlds?? Why is it never "Let {EVERY} Chosen Child grieve when the plots, not just this fandom, actually allows them to be messy, imperfect individuals"????!!!
