Think about great leaders throughout history. It certainly possible to be a great leader during times when conditions are optimal. No wars. No struggle. No adversity.

But, adversity is when history labels great leaders. Those that overcome seemingly insurmountable odds in defiance of the status quo to stand for change, sometimes at the cost of their very lives.
