[/she clears her throat a bit as she approaches, giving him a hesitant smile before she speaks;] Um, Professor, I wanted to ask [/she pauses for a moment;] why I got this Pokemon? [/he holds out the pokeball she'd been gifted, too afraid of the Pokemon inside to eve let it out;]
Hello, Hayi.
Your concern is understandable— as Haunter doesn’t quite suit the rest of your team, but let me explain. Despite ghost pokemons’ reputation to prank and fool around, this Haunter is quite motherly. We don’t know where it came from— but she always did have a tendency to assume the parental figure with the younger pokemon in our facility. She helped us out a lot and we figured she would be perfect for your toddler pokemon.
Also, something to note: ghost pokemon can sense a person’s terror, and they often thrive off of it— depending on the vibe or situation. Yours, right now, isn’t too positive and it will reflect upon Haunter. This could be potentially damaging to your relationship with her.
Best of luck and congratulations on your singing career!
