Hunter #2082 was on his way to ADX Florence because of 2 escape attempts with Logan #2088. Caleb #2036 made terroristic threats against NASA when his application was rejected.

Last day with this in my home 🐺🛹 tomorrow the space coyotes deck takes a trip to ADX Portland, where you’ll be able to see it in person (and relocate it to YOUR home if you so choose) on June 5th

🎨 I really savored dinking around on the thing with paint & pens and generally just having a chill, no-pressure time being playful

Thanks to ADX for letting me put it on their wall with hundreds of other phenomenal decks from far and wide, and dealing art in their lot on the opening night of the show! It’s going to be fun handing these anklebiter coyote stickers out to people 🫰🐾

Wednesday, November 19: ADX, "Sacrifice in the Ice"

R.I.P. Hervé “Marquis” Tasson (1961-2016)

ADX took their shot at breaking out of France by signing with Noise and singing in English on Weird Visions, but “Sacrifice in the Ice” felt at least 5 years too late even without the hilariously cheap video.  The nods to Kill ‘em All were overt and the shambolic performances were similarly straight out of 1985 even though Weird Visions came out in 1990 and everyone should’ve known better.  Speaking of knowing better, Phil Grelaud’s “demonic” growling would’ve been ludicrous at any point after 1983 and that would’ve been seen as exceptionally charitable even back then.  But ADX was one of the only bands in France even trying to play this kind of music, so in that respect “Sacrifice in the Ice” did its part to lay the groundwork for the country to establish a footprint in the global metal community though it would take a lot longer to be taken seriously.
