Hiii I’m Ashley, or HiddenStash (as I’m colloquially known in art circles).

I’m a somewhat quiet person that likes to let my creations speak for themselves.

What do they say? “Get weird." "Stay silly.” “Be free.”

I design, draw, paint and produce stickers & screen printed artworks that encourage you to dig deep down and find that fun-loving, feral human animal that lives inside us all and let it out to play.

As a kid, my mom used to love contact paper (think of it as the ivy or marble-patterned vinyl wrap of the 90s) and would cover little cardboard boxes with it then decorate them with stickers and lace and shiny objects. She’d often label them with words or names and use them for storage of things around the house, or sell them at bazaars.

As an adult, my inheritance is a proclivity for crafting in random little ways wherever I can. Today’s thing is lovingly creating hang tags for these shirts

These shirts almost sold out before they could be dropped off at PDXchange (thank you!), & since I’d like them to have more than one of each size, I’m going to do another small batch

The shirts are screen printed multiple times by hand on the front, back, and the sleeves and will be ice dyed this time around in Raven by Dharma Trading Co, which has a tendency to split into not just black but lotsa little colorful speckles ♥️

It’ll be around 2 weeks tops for fulfillment

The weather is actually a tad chill in Portland today and it’s getting me excited for fall and all the spooky vibes and darker art that come with it 💀 I even brewed uppa cuppa apple spiced tea to max out the feel 🍂

If you’ve been following me for a bit, you might remember my struggles with exposing a set of aluminum frame silkscreens earlier in the spring. I went through hell with them but came out clean on the other side and now have the ability to make these little fungi felines

💖 On the first day of August, I’m tabling in a way I NEVER have before: you’ll be able to walk up, pick a screen printed artwork, and use my equipment and supplies to paint it yourself!

🫴 I’ll be happy to make my years of experience available for you to glean if you need advice, but I encourage you to go wild and have fun with it!

🎨 You can let the artwork hang out & dry, go visit the 40+ other vendors and pick it up later 🫶 or wait a few minutes and chit chat with me, then take it with you!

💸 Payment is on a sliding scale - pay what you can / what you want / if you want! Cash, cashapp, PayPal and Venmo will all be accepted. I ALSO LOVE BARTERING FOR TRINKETS 🌞
