When I stuff up an audition

Me (1 day post audition): ugh. Well I stuffed up the sight reading excerpt and a little bit of.... Ughhhh I'm not getting in.

Me (1 week post audition): ehhh I'm probably not going in... Oh crud... I think I stuffed up my short solo piece too!! GAHHH.. Then again, the panel looked pretty happy- no wait... No they didn't, they looks pretty annoyed- wait, wait ugh!

Me (2.5 weeks post audition): ah. Well I'm not getting into orchestra this year... Oh well.

Me (1 day before they post position results): *prays for miracle* please please please please give me a position... Even if it's a sucky position... This is my first time to audition for this... Please any thing..!

Me (1 minute before they post positions): I accept it... I'm not getting in-

Parent: *checks email)YOU GOT IN SWEETIE!!

Youth opera and youth orchestra team up this June in an exciting musical collaboration.

Adelaide Youth Orchestra and some of South Australia’s best young opera singers will present the first staged opera concert in the orchestra’s history.
