Magic always comes at a cost. When you don’t pay it, no magic. It’s as simple as that.

Chains of Fire
These are the last sentences I wrote for Guillem’s scene. Like I said, he’s not in a good place.
I’ll try and do two of these images a day (technically the day after) as the month goes along. None of these will interfere with my WotD challenge.
Chains of Fire
Didn’t write much today so only one excerpt. I mostly cleaned up the mess I wrote yesterday. I usually don’t do any editing/cleaning until I’m done but this time I made an exception.
More tomorrow :)
Chains of Fire
Yes! I finished my first short story of Aedrane: History and Tales. This isn’t quite the end but I thought it’d be nice to end with this image. Tomorrow (well, today since I’m queuing this to post the next day), I’ll start the next one :)
Chains of Fire
I just cannot write Gilda!
Her brother just died and I have no experience with loss so she is just slightly numb and determined but there aren’t any really feelings involved. Pff, this is annoying.
Also, this is a partisan, a pole weapon with this fancy blade at the end (I wanted something that wasn’t a sword or a knife for once)
Chains of Fire
Why are emotions so hard!!!
Chains of Fire
Not as happy with my writing as I was yesterday. Gilda's emotions are tricky. I definitely think I’ll need to come back to this part but I did get a few good lines in. :)
Chains of Fire
Blood magic and bargaining with the earth. What could possibly go wrong?
