Artist is Aegsidea, check her out! Story of Zodiac origins written by me. Since its been a while i thought I would upload some info i recently got asked by a friend. She asked me what the statue in page 5 had to do with the story, seeing as though shes seen sneak peeks of the next page, and seeing as though this isnt going to be touched on hugely in the comic but a big part of the book i thought id answer that. The statue is of Lord Crow, King of demons. Now demons were always ruled by Dragon demons in the times of old, but with a plot against the old king Lucifer which lead to his death this fellow became the new king. He is a crow demon, not really what you would expect to lead a race of immortal beings, but that will be told in he story so i wont spoil how. After he started his reign he was a good and wise king, beloved by his people, but this began to change when out of no where he became paranoid and controlling, taking over neighbouring countries and slaughtering all in his way. The statue in which Tempest is frowning at is a reminder of the days when the empire was being created, a famous story of the king was that the young princess of a former ally of the king refused to let him take her lands, so a compromise was made to avoid blood shed, he would marry her to unite their kingdoms in peace. On the day of the wedding he grabbed her, pulling her to him in a kiss before ripping out her still beating heart from her body, she was the example to her people, not to stand in the way of him. She was a powerful woman, with much love and respect from her people, so her death came as a shock, the reason behind why he killed her in such a way is unknown, but the artist of the statue loved the story that he immortalised it in his work. Tempest hates the statue, and unknown by him, his grandfather King Crow also hates it.
