INSPIRATIONS STRUCK ME AND HAS THIS BEEN DONE BEFORE
No credits to j*r*wling but I noticed how she accidentally managed to weave in the stories how the education system fails neurodivergent people.
Neville probably was autistic or learning disability and we can see how poorly he was treated by everyone because he struggled with his studies. But later on we see how good he becomes at herbology; it is common that neurodivergent people excel at one subject rather than being all rounders due to developing hyperfixations and working hard on them.
Meanwhile Seamus Finnigan with his "particular proclivity of pyrotechnics" is a good, but rather stereotypical (perhaps that's why it was easier to see) metaphor for someone with adhd, written to be chaotic and disastrous, with his mind "running" so he often messes up his spells quite explosively. And it wasn't ever shown whether Neville or Seamus received external support with their studies from the school's faculty - with the exception of Minerva badass McGonnagal encouraging Neville to pursue herbology and talking to his grandmother about it in OoTP.
Both of these characters were there for comedic purposes and it shows how society treats neurodivergent people - like a laughing stock. And obviously that needs to be changed. It's just amazing how r*wling accidentally managed to accurately portray how society and education system fails the neurodivergent community, exactly by using them as comedy reliefs.

And as is rains beautifully over here, I cannot help but wonder to up and ask you, "Is it raining over there as well?"

Okay so my sister noticed this that Michael!Dean referred to our Cas as Cas and it just hit me that obviously he went through all of Dean's memories (he even said so; to keep him caged/ locked in his own mind and wouldn't retaliate etc) and he knew that Dean lovingly calls him Cas, he knew, he knew. He knew Dean loves him and he knows Cas reciprocates, it's just that obvious. And he knows that Cas is the only real danger to him.
So Michael calls Castiel Cas because he knows how much pain it'd cause Cas seeing "Dean" call him in a taunting manner, in scorn, hate almost. As if to say it's all Cas' fault Dean is like that and he will never be enough, never be worthy of Dean's love.
