ooh this is interesting. clover would never admit this but she is attracted to people who revere her. reverence, almost worship. a deep sense of loyalty and unconditional love. that is attractive to her.

i would say that she's found that in ricardo to a degree and that's part of what draws her to him. he holds her in high esteem, far more than she believes she deserves and she's drawn to it like a moth to a flame. the connection is undeniable no matter how much she tries to fight it

i wouldn't say that clover reveres people. she's not loyal; in fact she views those around her as disposable. people are a means to an end, items to be discarded. there is an unbreakable bond between her and ortega so i'd say she is in a way loyal to him and by the end of the second book she's learning what it means to love. but she definitely has no qualms about betraying people to get what she wants, especially early on in the books. she's very one track minded after her second escape and vengeance is her top priority

i have to note that despite her callousness she doesn't kill people; she's a bit of a softie despite her cold nature. idk she's a walking paradox at this point full of contradictions. that's what i love most abt her. she's complicated and layered and there are SO many mixed emotions fighting within her
