Makes me wonder just how often Duckworth found him passed out in the hallway or halfway down the stairs before the kids moved in to keep an eye on him.

Honestly? Probably pretty often. Which just makes me think of a moment from an episode I’d included in that photoset, but not this specific bit.  Scrooge has worn himself OUT chasing his money halfway across Duckburg to keep it from the Beagle Boys. At the end of things he literally passes out dead asleep, and what to the boys do?

They give him a pillow and let him be.  Bestill my DuckFeelsy heart.

So I’ve no doubt they tend to him at times when he just passes out from work or whatever else, even if it’s just putting a little blanket over him and making sure the rest of the area stays quiet.  (Honestly, “spreading throw blanket over sleeping person” is one of my favorite cute things to, so I extra want this)

That’s who inspired my PSA - I’m really hoping they can give them their account back, but they said on dA that the bot changed the email address associated with the account so they may be shit out of luck sadly.

But you know what they say. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I guess the UK does, at least. I read a LOT of Harry Potter fic back in the day, my dude. Never really wrote any, though. There were beta reader specifically called “Britpickers” who would read over your prose to make sure it didn’t have any Americanisms, that’s how seriously those fanfic writers took their accuracy.

This is gonna sound rather random but I am mulling something over at the moment and I would like the input of a fellow duck enthusiast to round it out. A male goose is a gander and Gladstone's last name is Gander. Given the usual way the characters are named in this world, would you consider Gladstone to be a goose rather than a duck?

Based on the family tree Carl Barks created, Gladstone is the son of Luke the Goose and Daphne Duck. So yup, he’s part goose if we go by that canon!

There's an episode of law and order svu where Elliot gets his arm sliced up pretty bad by a window. Not that he punched it but he did hit it with the assistance of a dude high out of his mind and raging. So technically he did hit it and get hurt lol Another one bounced his head through a car window and made him temporarily blind! Assisted glass hitting counts, right?

“navigating the troubled waters of sex…” i thought Archie Comics always strived to keep their franchise away from that kind of stuff and keep it family friendly? Not that I am complaining, as I have grown up with these characters and it is great seeing them tackle a more adult world, but it still caused a minor eyebrow raise.

yeah idk, they seem to be tackling more edgey stuff recently. Before they were following the “Comics Code” which had a lot of limitations and censorship, including Horror and sexual stuff , but i guess they dropped that in 2011 and now they can do what they want? and then Archies first Teen+ rated series Afterlife with Archie was born, with the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina hot on it’s heels, and Riverdale on the way!
