River was also touched without being sent back in time. I guess it’s just a matter of decision.

I don't think it's a matter of choice. River was explained by the angel being weak, I just checked:

RIVER: At least she didn't send me back in time.  DOCTOR: I doubt she's strong enough. 

I don't think they ever say they can CHOOSE not to, but I'm still checking.

Sure, but as this was Sherlock related and not exactly personal, why wouldn't he have Louise Brealey or Sue Vertue or any number of actual staff on set tweet that? Which I didn't see from a single one. In fact, some of them even tweeted about being on set, where, and posted photos. Odd that.
