i'd like to talk about your discussion with that other anon on page 2 for a little bit - they said that it hurts to be called homophobic, when they might be queer -- they can still be homophobic and queer, just like females can be mysoginistic. it's called internal homophobia and it happens and enjonine is a really big example of that - queer erasure is homophobic no matter who you are or if you ship another ship (e/r, for example)
I actually don't think I even addressed that part of their ask, actually. In fact, I'm not sure if I just skimmed through that part or what, but yes, you totally right about that!
No matter where you stand in society - no matter what you identify as, you can take part in oppressing the group that you belong to. I'm glad you did send this to me, because yes, that's an important thing to recognize. Homosexual people can be homophobic, in fact I know someone who is gay, and has tons, and tons of internalized homophobia, and makes plenty of homophobic comments. Anyone can be homophobic, and that's what is, and should be called out in the instance of Enjonine.
Of course, being a part of a certain group, whether oppressed or not, and having your offensive behavior called out is strange, and it can make you very defensive, especially if you're a member of an oppressed group, and people are telling you that something you said or did is oppressing the group you belong to further.
Just because you don't think it's offensive doesn't mean that you aren't being offensive. No one gets a free pass because they belong to a certain group.

We all know the rules. I answer the questions, write ten more, tag al people, etc.
Favorite planet (real or fictional) and why?
Oh man. I am really fond of the Mendocino Woodlands and Muir Woods in California. Especially Mendocino.
Movie you’d recommend to pretty much everyone?
Jesus Henry Christ or The Debt or Stories We Tell.
Current favorite song?
Broadripple is Burning by Margo and the Nuclear So & So's.
Fly cross-country on a dandelion puff, or go to the bottom of the ocean and back in a bubble? (Assuming both are possible and safe.)
Go to the bottom of the ocean. I can fly in a plane or hang glide to get an idea of flying, but we have no idea what's way down there - I'd love to see it for myself. Thoughts on Twizzlers? (Any thoughts at all.)
I prefere proper black licorice, but I'll eat them.
Most hilariously bad movie you’ve ever seen?
I don't usually watch bad movies, to be honest. Probably some flick I don't remember the name of.
Song lyric you always get wrong (like how I keep messing up the third verse of Drink with Me, etc.)?
I usually jumble my words with "You say that right here, but then give it a year, or ten years, or a life," I'll say ten years first sometimes.
Favorite plant?
My apply tree.
If you could make a castle out of anything, what building materials would you use? (Seriously, it can be rubber ducks. Anything.)
Live trees.
Light-up shoes or propeller hat?
Propeller hat all the way.
My questions:
Favorite song from The Weather on WtNV, or if you don't listen to WtNV, what are your thoughts on what you've seen of it?
Favorite fic of all time?
Do you still follow the first person you followed?
Are you still in touch with the first person you befriended over the internet?
Do you still enjoy the source material from your first fandom?
What character do you empathize most with, that other people don't associate you with?
If you could save one character's life but kill off their best friend/lover, would you? (And who?)
What is your desktop background right now?
On a scale of one to ten, how embarrassing was your first email address? (Ten is so embarrassing you won't tell anyone what it is)
What is your favorite middle school memory?

Mutant Registration: Warpath
I was going through Ryssa's blog to see what I've been missing because I have been swamped with sewing, and I realized I'd forgotten to listen to the Mutant Registration spinoff mix
That particular timeline is kind of my home when it comes to writing from Ryssa's verses so naturally I immediately wrote something new
I didn't proofread this whoops
