So I was thinking about Selena's Wish in Downfall to spread the blueprint of the Factorum Malleus, and how out of all four aeormatons we've met, only Devexian actually remembers Aeor and the Calamity. And for a second, I had the fun idea that Devexian is walking around, ignoring that he has the blueprints for a god killing weapon downloaded into his brain (he's far too interested in reviving and perpetuating his people, ain't got time for god killing). That all the revived aeormatons have this knowledge slumbering in them, ready to be awakened if they can regain those ancient memories.

So I had to fact-check myself, because I wanted to know if I was on the right track and:

Selena is going to be rent asunder. (Selena) "Everyone, everyone, everyone." Every wizard of flesh and blood within Aeor is seeded by her Wish with the knowledge of how to create the Factorum Malleus. With her Wish does she say, "Run. Save this knowledge." The knowledge of the weapon touches every corner of this city.

Every wizard of flesh and blood.

What an interesting distinction of this Wish.

By that wording, you could reboot every aeormaton, even ones that are wizards, and they wouldn't know.

Selena excluded aeormatons from her Wish. The woman who created SILAHA, who was so proud of that creation. Only to have her pride practically stolen by the Arch Heart. Did she exclude aeormatons from her Wish because of SILAHA? Was it because of an engrained belief in mortal (mage) superiority over aeormatons as assembled beings? At least limiting the wish to wizards makes sense in that it is very canon that Aeor is a mageocracy and thus is built on the belief of the superior wizard/arcanist. Plus how wizardry is probably necessary to building a Factorum Malleus.

And there's such irony that only the aeormatons have been revived, have in a sense survived, after the destruction of Aeor. Yes, there's people in the time bubbles within the ruins, but nobody knows how to get them out, much less get them out safely.

It's just... wild that she went to all that effort, not only ensuring the destruction of the entire city, but also abjectly failing to get that knowledge out because of how she limited the Wish.

Calamity part 2, aeor edition!?! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see aeormatons in all their glory and maybe some aeormaton players. Yes aeor is very cool and interesting but I wanna know everything about the aeormatons, that's what I'm here for
