This week’s Females of Metal Friday is Marion Bascoul. French vocalist and guitarist for the melodic death metal band Aephanemer from France.
Founded in 2014, Aephanemer has released 4 studio albums, their last being Utopia in 2025.
To say that I’ve just recently discovered Aephanemer is a sad statement as I should have been listening to them 10 years ago. Marion’s voice is just as powerful as her guitar work and blends nicely with the other musicians to produce the band’s unique sound.
Definitely a band I will continue to get to know and listen to. I hope you will do the same.
