MY GOD. THE POSTS WRITE THEMSELVES AT THIS POINT. WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS YEAR'S STREAMER AWARDS WITH FANFAN??? i've only seen a couple things from fanfan. i stopped watching her because she just wasn't my vibe-- but WHATEVER THE HELL HAPPENED AT THE AWARDS WAS NO ONE'S VIBE 😭
straight up evil "jokes". i'm not the kind of overreact about this stuff, but comparing kai to P-DIDDY is genuinely unfathomable. some people say it's not a big deal because allegedly his own fandom started it first, but based on the streamer joke right before it... it's not looking great.
i couldn't find an angle showing his face following that joke, but based off the face he made after she called streamer university the "most un-educational" university ever, i don't think he was any happier to hear that last one.
some people say that her jokes may have been written by someone else--which i'm sort of hoping for (for her own sake)-- but either way, how did those jokes make it out of the writer's room? the entire thing was tone-deaf and awkward. no one seemed to be laughing.
if i'm being totally honest, i hadn't seen the streamer awards when it first streamed, but i may have to later when i have more time because it's EVERYWHERE. even on social media that i use with NOTHING to do with streamers. it invaded my feed.
on the list of other jokes, i think there's one about hassan and some remote (idk whats going on there) and another where she calls some table (i THINK it was faze clan) the homophobic and misogynist table. i don't have any opinions on those yet, though. i recognize those names, but i don't remember who they really are. might need to jog my memory later.
anyway... congrats tubbo for winning best minecraft streamer? it may be the only good thing that came out of this event if it really was as bad as social media says. i was rooting for goodtimeswithscar, but it was super close. they've both worked super hard.
think enough time has passed to where i can mention that i ran one of the million mcyt confessions blogs last summer and then promptly lost the password. to all those unanswered asks i'm sorry 💀
