Fave lines from rehearsal with Colleen today include,

“EMILY STOP LOOKING UP AT ME LIKE THAT! YOUR EYES ARE SO BIG YOU LOOK LIKE A DISNEY CHARACTER!”

And,

“Ok you know those robot dinosaur toys that come with like, ‘friendly explorer’ or 'fierce predator’ modes? I’m stuck in the first one.”

Finding a Doubles Partner is Worse than Dating

So building out my new program and putting it out there is resulting in some interesting collateral benefits. After months of dreaming if an aerials partner, and mooning over one in particular who, much to my heartbreak, chose someone else, a wonderful aerialist asked me to double with her on trapeze! We have our first date today and I am so nervous! What if she doesn't like that I eat while I train? What if I can't base her? What if I drop her? What if we don't have good chemistry?? Aargh! I am too old for this teen angst shit...
