if anything, sohee should have been counting her blessings that if she was going to be completely withdrawn mentally and emotionally from being an idol that she ended up in femme fatale — with their lacklustre comeback schedule there wasn’t anywhere better for her to be really, especially with the rumour going around that ddu-du-ddu-du would be their first and final comeback of the year. her fingers were tightly crossed that she managed to slip under gold star’s radar when it came to the idea of solo work - she’d leave that to the girls that actually wanted to do something.
but even with the mindset that she just had to push through one comeback, the clouds were looming over her mood as she paced around the set of their music video. with the imminent comeback, it was the busiest month that the four girls have had as a collective in months, and being pushed back in so vehemently into the dynamic of the four of them, she did feel a little off in her own unenthusiasm. shying away from the flustered filming staff, sohee found herself lingering around aeri, her mouth opening and closing as she tried to think of what to say for a moment, “i don’t feel good.”
it wasn’t easy for her, per say, to try and talk about it, and the music video filming set probably wasn’t the most ideal place to either, but aeri was a good listener, and frankly the girl’s ear meant more to her than what sohee could ever pay back. “i don’t want to look miserable, i don’t want to be caught on camera looking like an ass, i know it just makes everyone else look worse,” she mumbled, toying with the fabric of her overly styled outfit, “i don’t want to be here though.”
