Ah, thank you ♥ But I promise you: my hair isn’t really that thick. I’ve lost so much of it this past year. My hairdresser used a volume iron (or whatever it’s called) to make it fluffy and nice. That’s why it looks so thick. Plus, you know, post-braid curls.

Well, tbh I was freaking the fuck out over the mouse too, and god I don’t want a repeat of that. But at least mice are somewhat cute, vs roaches are just... disgusting and ughhhhh. But I really hope that’s the case. It’s been warm lately and to avoid turning on the ac and raising our electric bill I’ve been leaving our balcony door open while we’re out, and there’s a gap at the bottom and I hope to god that’s the source...

If you can obtain some boric acid, mix a bit with a little Crisco and some mint apple jelly. Smear it on canning lids and stick them (jelly side to the wall or floor) inside cabinets where pets can’t reach. It’ll kill roaches and ants.

Oh god thank you. Does it have to be mint apple or can it be any sort of jelly? Ryan bought some raid last night but it’s not pet safe and I don’t want to hurt my cat. And googling suggests that a lot of “pet safe” bug sprays are actually only “dog safe” and my cat licks everything and I really don’t want to make her sick or worse. Do you have any suggestions of safe things I could spray to kill on contact? God, going at them with textbook is not only terrifying but awkward and in some spaces ineffective. :(

it’s still good to see. even with all the yipe, it’s still good to see. the first half of the movie works so well it feels like you’ve seen it before because it’s so smooth. the second half is action and robots. it’s still a good movie to see.

I think you misunderstand me, both of you. I’m probably the biggest hater. I don’t care one iota for 99% of the characters and I don’t want to give my hard-earned money to Marvel. I thought that maybe I could watch AoU at some point but after the spoilers I’ve seen, I’ve lost all interest. Or maybe I just got all my suspicions confirmed, I don’t know.

I just wish I could be like everyone else, I guess, and have something to look forward to.

At least there’s Hannibal season 3. Carefully orchestrated murder always cheers me up.
