Four talents I'm proud of having:

I can teach myself to play piano pieces by ear (I haven't done this in a while so I might be rusty), I can read Arabic-- read, not translate (this is a talent!!!), I can roll a fat ass joint and not make it spitty, I can also curate a bomb ass playlist for almost any occasion.

What's something you've been wanting to rant about but haven't gotten to yet?

We have got to start having higher standards for fandom-inspired tarot decks, y'all. Most of these are straight up shit. I don't actually have the energy for a full rant, mostly because I've been channeling that energy into ranting about the Skyrim Tarot.

Alternatively, something you've ranted about and just aren't done with?

The Skyrim Tarot. I have a masterpost over on @jasper-tarot-reader for comparing it with the Neopets tarot, but I'm sitting here going "I COULD FIX THIS! I COULD FIX THIS!!!" tonight. And, well, I'm sure you already saw me rant about the Dungeons & Dragons Tarot in the Discord server, I could fix that one too.

12) Do you think witchcraft is inherently political?

Seeing as modern witchcraft is inherently an act of rebellion and many traditions encourage a connection to one's community and to the earth itself, YES.

If we're connecting to our local biome, we should give a damn about environmentalism and climate crisis issues. If we're connecting to our communities, we should give a damn what happens to the people living there. If we're connecting to history and mythology, we should give a damn about not repeating the mistakes of the past. If we're connecting to deities or our ancestors, we should give a damn about the legacy we leave behind.

If we're living in this world, we should give a damn about trying to make it a little bit better, even if that means doing the bare minimum of making ourselves aware of current events and issues and fact-checking things before we pass them along.

Witchcraft IS inherently political. And if it isn't, it should be.

I specifically went to my wax melt box to sniff a bunch and report back.

It's a solid tie between Wonderland (berry, apple, and peonies) by ScentSationals, Over the Rainbow (pineapple, passionfruit, cassis, apple, pear, raspberry, white wood, and amber scent notes) by Better Home & Gardens, and Warm Spring Sunshine (white peach, daisy, granny smith apple, rain water, melon, garden florals, and amber scent notes) by Better Home & Gardens.

As a bonus, I quite favor Illusion (cedar, musk, and mystery) by ScentSationals because it's the first one I ever got as a devotional wax melt, for Lucifer. It's Their favorite!

What's a cozy/hidden favorite store you like to go to in your area?

This is sadly one of the boring questions - I don't drive as of yet and am unemployed so I don't have many chances to go places and see new stores! It's very sad I will cry about it /joke at the end

Plus I genuinely live in a pretty boring area for this sorta thing, where there's very few small businesses. I have seen metaphysical stores but those tend to be... unnecessarily expensive. So I haven't breached one yet.

Oh gosh... I can't stand either, and I've tried my dude (/nongendered) I've tried so hard. Can you imagine? Being me who wants to learn to read tea leaves but cannot stand the taste of tea? It's pain!

Hmmm. I was gonna jokingly self-deprecate and be like "I'm so good at what I do" but I can feel Lucifer looming over me with a rolled up newspaper to bonk me if I do, so I'll make a more genuine one about myself.

I've got very few spirit companions in general. (How many is the truth? That may remain a secret~)

What's your current hyperfixation?

Touhou Project my fucking BELOVED!!!!!!!!!! It's been a special interest since I was like. 11? or some shit like that? And it never really goes away, the hyperfixation.

Lately I'm fixating on the Scarlet Devil Mansion crowd + Reimu Hakurei + Marisa Kirisame. It doesn't help that I worship Touhous and I've been working when I can with them during said haunting, and Reimu and Marisa have been taking turns shooing away any less than friendly spirits (I hope they get to rest now... I just hope the haunting is done but that's yet another reason to hope for that.) But I'm fixating on SDM just because they're cool and thinking of their dynamics from a fan perspective and a worship perspective is fun. All hail Flandre Scarlet, little girl way too strong for any logical sense! (Context: She can destroy anything. She destroyed a meteor once. A giant one. All by just... squeezing Her hand shut...)

I really wanna go and assign more friends hypothetical Touhous they should worship because I think it's fun AND funny to be like "I diagnose you: Depressed capitalist cat with trauma (Mike Goutokuji)."

If you want one Aese... I know you well enough from your streams I could probably assign you one [ eyes emoji ]. It'd be a joke and a hypothetical though, because I don't actually care to convert people lmao. (And converting people without their consent isn't very cool, kids!)

If you could fight one (1) author of any terrible witchcraft book, without repercussions, from any era, alive or dead, who would it be? And why?

Oh, Aleister Crowley, hands down, for very self-explanatory reasons. My beef with this dead guy is legendary.

Otherwise, it would be Tudorbeth. I need to fight her behind a Sonic drive-through for her shitty Spellbook for the Seasons book.

7. How has your practice changed since you first began?

Hello! It's changed a lot, but not for the better honestly. I started out as wiccan, honestly thought that's all there was. I realized I could do my own thing, so I did!

I was way into sea witchcraft and water magic. I don't do much of that anymore, but water is still tied with earth as one of my preferred elements to work with.

My practice has gotten darker over the years too. I've always been interested in death, bones, darker things like that. But I started getting more into it as I grew more in my craft.

In recent years though, it's become stagnant. I came back to Tumblr hoping that'd help bring things back up. My brain is swirling with ideas, just no motivation to actually enact them. I mostly journal now, I cast a spell here and there, but it's not nearly as often as I'd like. I don't feel as magical as I used to unfortunately.

One thing that stayed the same though, is my love of crystals. They're like the Earth's babies! And they're shiny!

15. What was the last spell you performed?

Unsurprisingly, a banishing spell, cloaking spell, and a wall spell all in succession, it's kind of the only spells I get to perform anymore. I don't have the energy to do anything other than constantly do a weekly (or more often...) banishing spell, cloaking spell, and a wall spell against my haunting.

I need to cast a cord cutting on something I realized (tl;dr a matching plushie with the person who sent the haunting), though... that'll happen soon.

For a more fun answer, if I had the time and energy, I'd love to cast a confidence boosting spell or an entity communication boosting spell.

23. What is your preferred element?

Fire! Fire means a lot to me for more reasons than just the element: It represents the holy flame of one of my main spirit guides, who is often represented through the phoenix. So fire also represents rebirth to me as well as destruction.

55. What has been your biggest witchcraft disaster?

Probably the cord cuttings I did to cut off the person who sent the haunting after me before I realized I was being haunted. In hindsight, it just pissed off the spirits more and made them more aggressive.

As well, any wall or cloak spell cast after the haunting. They're torn down after a week max every time. So I need to re-cast them all the time. and every time it's a failure in the end, lol. Maybe not kind to myself to view it that way, but...

56. What has been your biggest witchcraft success?

A money bowl I did back when my shop was open (and it will reopen one day I prommy!), because it came to fruition same day and I got 60 bucks out of it. Pretty good lol. I haven't had many other successes I can remember, lol.

92. What is the most spiritual or magickal place you’ve been?

I don't actually have the means to get around very much, so it'd have to be the cemetery at my grandparents place. It's teeming with energy and I try to say hello to my ancestors while I'm there, but because my grandparents live out of state and like 10 hours away, I don't get to very often. I hope to do some cemetery work one day.
