If you are going to critique my writing, perhaps you should learn to use a pronoun first? Unless you already know, then I am going to assume this is deliberate. Remember, people only know I am trans when I am online, are friends/family or I am naked (and even then not for much longer. I am treated as a woman by everybody in my life and randoms on the street - and even by the state. People only they/them me once they find out I am trans. Suddenly I am nonbinary. I have been out for 10 years now.

I usually don't care about inane takes like this, but this is sadly indicative of a larger problem where I swear every second review of my work using they/them - many of these positive reviews published in blogs and journals. Uboa is a pseudonym for me. This release was not designed around a band. It's almost as if its transmisogyny... rebranded?

i know antis have pointed this out already, but i really find Perfuma being Catra's therapist a laughable option.

first off, Perfuma willingly ignored what was going on in her own Kingdom for the sake of ⭐❤️positive vibes, teehee!❤️⭐ and then blamed Adora when it went wrong ( directly or indirectly, i don't remember, but it doesn't matter ) and only helped herself and her people when it was the "right time".

second off, Perfuma leashed a grown ass woman ( Entrapta ) twice and hurt her in at least one of those times, without apologizing! ever!

third off, Perfuma is one of the fakest characters in the entire series otherwise! she's an ableist, two-faced liar who preaches and cries about the power of friendship and love, yet literally whined ( i mean whine, like a child, not complain or vent ) to Bow that she didn't want to fight in a war that everyone was already a part of, including herself!

her suddenly being able to "see" Catra's issues in s5 was total nonsense and is just meant to tend to the "gentle character that has flora or fauna symbolism being a psuedo-therapist" trope instead of doing anything actually productive.

the fandom just accepting Perfuma as somehow being a relatively reasonable and relaxed person when her toxic positivity goes so far that she deliberately ignored her own Kingdom's problems, then acting like that never happened in the first place because of her own refusal to act like an adult is ridiculous! Frosta acted more like an adult than she did!

the writers and fandom just push characters into tropes while claiming subversion, expansion, or critique of said tropes, and it's exhausting.
