Behold my beautiful twink son...
(Anglo-Saxon King, who died more than one thousand years before I was even conceived)
Made an edit of Æthelstan because I just watched Seven Kings Must Die after having watched The Last Kingdom and he is a character I really loved, if not one of my favourite characters ever.
(yes I know he was an actual historical figure but I mean the character.)
Holly Molly, Harry Gilby can act.

Edmond Ier: Le deuxième roi d'Angleterre

As a young boy, he could not have ever expected to inherit the throne, but when Aethelstan died in 939, at the age of 45, and 18-year-old Edmund was set the challenge of proving himself a worthy successor. By 946, 25-year-old Edmund could look back on a successful reign of military expansion, harmony with his chief magnates, and alliances with his neighbours.

The hardest part about watching a series with a cast like The Last Kingdom is that I want to be Aethelstan's girlfriend as much as I want to be his stepmother. I definitely can't choose between Aethelstan and Edward, give me both.
