Alternatively; my bestie said it kinda looks like a scene from a dream so it could also be Uhtred‘s dream when Alfred has already passed away. Yes we love drama and pain.

HERE, GUYS. HAVE A SAPPY EPILOGUE.

I know not many people even read this story, but nevertheless it means a lot to me and I am grateful for everyone who did read it and (hopefully) enjoyed this little journey of giving two idiots in love a happy ending.

I’ve been working on this for over a year and it still feels weird that it’s actually finished now. Never thought I’d get there, to be honest. But here we are.🥹

So thanks so much for reading and reblogging, liking, commenting… I appreciate it.

A not so warm welcome.

I can’t believe it but this is actually the last regular chapter. Next I am going to work on the epilogue and then this story is finished, after more than a year.

Honestly I didn’t think I’d get there. I got sidetracked with other stuff so many times.

But I still love working on this project and I am happy with how it turned out. Thank you to the sweet people who read and enjoy it. ❤️

And now have some sweet fluffy time in Wessex. Finally a peaceful moment between Uhtred and Aelswith. They’re both just glad to still have their shared trophy husband.

Currently reading "Death of Kings" and I had to draw the boys to cope with Alfred's death (once again).

It broke me how these effing idiots didn't talk for literal years and when they finally see each other again they go straight back to flirting like

I cannot describe what it means to me that Uhtred’s first instinct upon seeing Alfred cry was to hug him.

Also him immediately hunting down the man who was responsible for those tears.
