How different are Vaesin and Aethen wing structures? Bat wings are basically really comparatively big, webbed hands, but are they that way on the Vaesin? Or are Aethen wings kinda like really big feathered hands?

They’re very different! Vaesin bat wings are basically bat wings, and aethen feathered wings are built like bird wings. So the skeletal structure would look as you’d expect from a bird or bat depending on how the wings look.

Things like using magience-version-of-weed, sex work, etc. are generally legal in most territories (with the Fae tending to have the least regulations and laws against victimless/non-harmful things), but are illegal or at the very least extremely stigmatized in Aethen areas.

Are there Aethen varieties with gossamer/butterfly type wings?

Not naturally, but that’s certainly possible with body mod magic!

Theory: It's rare, but sometimes, an Aethen (Vaesin variant) will make a babbu with an Ayviah, and then poof bat-harpy. Yay or Nay?

Aethen fulfil an angelic aesthetic, but are there any races that are demonic, sorta like d&d's tieflings?

Actually, certain types of Aethen! Certain subspecies of Aethen are more of a demonic/fallen angel appearance, horns and all. 

Normal Aethen consider them ‘variants’, and don’t actually like to think of them as proper Aethen - the variants are hedonistic embarrassments to Normal Aethen. 

These ‘variants’ form their own communities away from normal Aethen ones, and tend to view the Normal Aethen as stuck-up, condescending, judgemental control freaks. They also avoid other people since their experience with Aethen leads them to think the whole world will treat them the same way.

Wizard Eyes and other such spells or tools will reveal the variants to be Aethen, but they prefer to call themselves Vaesin. (They think it’s funny, since the Aethen named themselves after the Aether element and all, why not name themselves after Vaesir, its complimentary opposite).

thats a funny visual but i mean aethen wings aren’t small, and coloration/pattern doesn’t dictate wing size/shape so

(Shiloh’s are small for a reason, it’s not the normal size for Aethen wings, hmmm wonder why that is)

On Aethen wings, can they be any color a bird/bat's wings can be (like bright saturated primary colors of macaws, patterns of owls, or the yellow+black of the Honduran white bat) or can they only be natural human hair/skin colors? Or is the answer somewhere in between?

They can be any sort of patterns bird/bat wings can, regardless of the Aethen’s actual hair or skin coloration.
