How different are Vaesin and Aethen wing structures? Bat wings are basically really comparatively big, webbed hands, but are they that way on the Vaesin? Or are Aethen wings kinda like really big feathered hands?
They’re very different! Vaesin bat wings are basically bat wings, and aethen feathered wings are built like bird wings. So the skeletal structure would look as you’d expect from a bird or bat depending on how the wings look.
How is "animal" defined if dragons are animals? Does that mean Fae and elves and merfolk and all the other races are also counted as animals? It sounds like it might just be a synonym for "living being that's not a plant or fungus" and not diminutive at all.
Humans are animals too! So yeah it basically means “living thing that’s not plant or fungus”.
