hmm?

Built another mass effect inspired room for screenshooting purposes. This time an apartment that could be on one of the more populated planets (like Illium or Bekenstein). I’m missing the skycars however. Some outside traffic would be nice. I just don’t know how to add that. Yet. I’m also thinking about adding walls and floors that are actually from mass effect. To make it look more authentic.

I also came to realize that I’m addicted to adding way too many light sources. This tiny room has 12. Twelve... fortunately with smart placement and after a significant amount of messing around (mostly with fade and fov settings of lights), they work without any flickering. Getting the right atmosphere is a lot more important than respecting the engine limitations of Skyrim after all.

Built a little room for Aether Suite today. It was sort of inspired by Mass effect (I love the aesthetics of Zakera Ward and Silversun Strip, hence the neon-overload and colors. Doesn’t resemble either but ehh).

Possibly strange question: Is it weird to use Skyrim + mods to build OCs and take screenshots for reference? Cuz I do that. Mainly for my mass effect OCs. Mods make pretty much anything possible in Skyrim, and relatively easily too (unlike modding mass effect). Face-sculpting, custom-built body, armor (retexturing skyrim cat-suits/futuristic armors for this purpose is also insanely fun. for me at least). Even with all the mods in mass effect, I could never build my OCs in a way that I like. And building non-Shep ones is downright useless.

If only drawing didn’t kill my wrist... although i suck at it, but that’s another thing

Does anybody else do that? Sculpt OCs in Skyrim for other games?

I am testing some Foxed skin resources and I think they are pretty nice. I would like a freckles+scars only version but I can probably just use freckles + Skin Feature Overlays to build a similar one for myself.
