Built another mass effect inspired room for screenshooting purposes. This time an apartment that could be on one of the more populated planets (like Illium or Bekenstein). I’m missing the skycars however. Some outside traffic would be nice. I just don’t know how to add that. Yet. I’m also thinking about adding walls and floors that are actually from mass effect. To make it look more authentic.

I also came to realize that I’m addicted to adding way too many light sources. This tiny room has 12. Twelve... fortunately with smart placement and after a significant amount of messing around (mostly with fade and fov settings of lights), they work without any flickering. Getting the right atmosphere is a lot more important than respecting the engine limitations of Skyrim after all.

Krie

A Champion Always Returns to the Spotlight

Dark area to showcase a dark skinned character... CHECK!

As I continue to delve into my vault of characters, specifically in the neglected area, I came across a character that was formerly a Nord (above she’s depicted as a Redguard). Her name is Krie. Way back (just trust me) someone not named @cakesicles  *cough* *cough* @skyrimcrap *cough* asked me to make a pink haired character. Now while I’ve done so with both Corea and Camilwe, my first attempt at said venture was with Krie.

Unlike other neglected characters, I DID (somewhat) try and flesh Krie out (she has her own Tweaking the Cast AND And Here We Are posts). See... Krie, like Azsanwess, is searching for the ultimate mix of dwemer tech and biology.  However, Krie’s ultimate goal is to become so strong that no one in ANY realm could compare to her might. A lofty goal, sure, but it was spurred on by numerous defeat by the hands of Arianne before the events of World Tour (so if I had continued with World Tour there is a high likelihood that Krie would have appeared as a main antagonist or a rival character).

There are numerous things I believe that I’ll have to fix with Krie, mainly I’ll have to make her armor not clip (or give her a new one), and considering it’s been quite some time since I’ve looked at her (and my preset of her was incorrect) I need to add her scars back... But that’s just me doing things in haste. :\

And this should (hopefully) conclude this round of moody modern Vaden aka I wanted to play with lighting and framing.  Haha.  Up next is adventure.  I think.
