"Oh, it's Ms. Lusamine. Really has been awhile since I've seen her."
@aetherceuse
" That is a lot of blood. " Deadpan.
He turned, not expecting an additional interruption. No less one shockingly devoid of the usual fright or sheer panic that such a gory scene might [rightfully] inspire within them. Indeed, there was a lot of blood. There were several victims as well sheltered in the old carcass of a ship behind him, with the source of the carnage lacking the obvious weaponry one might expect was required to render the witnessed brutality.
The strong would live and the weak would perish. That continued to be the ever true parable of the world.
The intruder wasn't close enough for their hands to touch, but it wouldn't much matter the distance between them had he wished to close it in a hurry. He wouldn't have to move a muscle to add her to the list of grievances left unspoken in the ship behind him.
He met her eyes, him a beacon of ethereal beauty, dangerous and shocking and horrible to behold, and her.... a perfect stranger, unmoved.
"Shall we have a battle of stating the obvious, or have you come with some other purpose in mind?" Stopping him perhaps? It was not USUAL in the least for one to see such trauma and be left standing as she was.
Admittedly, it gave him pause.

" Where did all of your rage go? "
Ah. The hard hitting questions. His least favorites.
It's there, of course. It's always there. Rumbling, growling, growing, harder to ignore every day, yet forced down.
Because you don't want to make people worried. Because people would be sad. Because think about others.
Not about yourself. Not about your safety. Not about the fact that if you keep doing this eventually you'll explode. Because you will. You know that. And she'll be there to pick up the pieces of what you broke.
Again.
"To tell ya the truth, miss Prez...
I wonder that myself."
It's there. It's where it's always been. In that fucked up, broken brain he has.
Desperately waiting for a reason to come out.
Go on. Give your dog a goddamn reason to bite.
what was the first fandom that you roleplayed within?

Vicious stood in the Aether Paradise lobby in his civilian clothes, waiting to meet an employee or someone, he hadn’t fully paid attention to the briefing other than what he had to do and what was expected of him. Help them out in their ball designings and not cause problems that would reflect badly on Rocket. In other words, keep his temper and fist in check… and attempt to be polite and civil. He had some helpful research stored in his bag, along with some data from the boss to give to Aether. The easiest way, if they let him, was just to let him work on the devices and give them a copy of the notes afterwards, but the odds were unlikely of him being left unattended. Somewhat bored he turned his attention to the building, which was more interesting than the people milling about.
Besides the obsession with white, he would admit he was quite impressed with the design and the actual building they had here, He could tell a lot of tech and money had gone into making this paradise, and it showed. He wanted to dig up blueprints or something of the place and dig more into it if he could.
Then there was their connection with the Ultra Beasts, Pokemon powerful enough to give the local legendaries a go for their money. He grinned slightly thinking about them, and wondered if there was a chance for him to get his hands on one, or at least observe them for data.
Giovanni wasn’t wrong when he offered the job to Vicious, there was a lot for the man to gain from helping Aether out as a favour from Rocket.
@aetherceuse asked: " It is pleasant to see you again, Mr. Ka'aukai. How is your grandfather fairing since you took over his position as kahuna? "
Oh. Oh now this-- this is awkward.
"It's good to see you again too. Gramps is doing well." They rub the nape of their neck, glancing away in shame. There's some new scars dotting their arms amongst the purple, and once he realizes those are visible to others too, he slowly returns his limb back to his side. Maybe even hides it a little.
"I'm... Tapu Koko demoted me a bit ago. Sorry."
taro was here for a visit. they hoped that everything went through with blueberry to the aether foundation...usually when they went to alola it was during a school break and it was to hang out with ree or to investigate certain pokemon habitats for school. heck, that's how they ended up with their minior...but this time it was because they wanted to possibly get another internship.
" am i- in the right place...? "
they looked around, then stuffed their hands in their pockets. they didn't want to wander anywhere. the point was to end up getting a job, not getting banned forever. and they were 90 percent sure that in a place like this; wandering off was probably the worst idea.
