Thoughts on Thaseen-Fei?

I’m really liking her and the aetherian storyline as a whole. I think Thaseen-Fei’s story is going to provide an interesting new take on the theme of liberation and remembering individuality. Plus i’m obsessed with the iconians, and the aetherians being the result of a fusion between the iconians and the borg is really fascinating to me.

aetherians and mushrooms

many modern erradians believe that certain patterns or types of mushroom growth indicates a troupe of aetherians may have passed by or be in near proximity. other erradians think this is bullshit :P.

the fact remains that aetherians (and erradians) fucking love mushrooms and have long hunted&“cultivated” them in certain forests etc, at least in the past (there is for aetherians a fuzzy line between wild harvesting and cultivation wrt certain organisms of the woods and water)

MY FIRST GO AT AETHERIAN MAKEUP! I got the idea from how age makeup is applied (they tell you to scrunch up your face, so you can find where to put the lines). What if Aetherian makeup/facepaint incorporates natural age/expression lines? Choosing some of those lines to accentuate and extend into more fanciful patterns, throwing in other shapes, that sort of thing. The idea of using makeup to conceal age would be completely alien to Aetherians, so why not? This sort of makeup would just look cooler and more intricate as you develop more natural lines to work with. I am v enamored of this idea, and i like the preliminary results. I should probably use real makeup, though, instead of my caran d'ache watercolor pencils which are a little clumsy to work with in this way and really great for my health i'm sure.
