2025 Artfight Attacks - Second Batch

Haven't posted art here in a while, but new AF Aevia design just dropped

She has wings in addition to her normal outfit in her expression of her soul in Darchlight. A little bit of Interceptor fuckery and a slight malfunction in the decompression lift may have caused them to be a little bit real...

Not much structure to this I just put things I think are relevant.

Some spoilers for Rejuvenation v13ahead!!

-

-For a baseline, Cherryblossomshipping (Aevia/Ariana) is/was canon to AF Aevia! Obviously uh, Ariana is a little bit stoned and dead so.... Yeah.

-importantly, unlike the normal MC, Aevia technically has 100% of her power as an Interceptor but... Doesn't realize that, nor knows how to use it. Her power manifests passively and can sometimes get out of control if Aevia herself loses her composure.

-the memory altering was mostly brief enough stuff to make sure Aevia functioned and didn't freak out over her role (and importantly making sure she forgot her "deal" with Variya and the knowledge of being an Interceptor and what that entails). But due to the nature of these memory alterations, they didn't last very long...

-shes also loses any memory of her friends souls being connected with hers. She doesn't find out she has all her friends within until the Puppet Master reveals it to her in her nightmare door.

-her passive powers manifest related to Aevia's emotions and namely being related to her Interceptor trait of Tranquility. If she's calm, she seems to have an aura that calms most people, but it can have an opposite effect if she starts panicking/otherwise loses her composure. Certain individuals due to their nature are immune to this aura whether its positive or negative, namely the Theolias and Aelita/Vivian/Taelia, but there's some others.

-speaking of her emotions. With all the circumstances surrounding her situation, especially compared to a normal MC, her mental fortitude is that of a kicked Fidough. Prone to getting distressed and upset much easier then she would be otherwise.

-shes does theoretically have more active powers besides her magical girl mode, I haven't fleshed these out yet...

-unlike canon Aevia she very much, even if it takes a while, gains a rather fervent desire to live. She loves the connections she's built with Rejuv's main cast even if the grief for her old friends is very severe...

-to say her relationship with Crescent is strained is an understatement

-Aevia, while she primarily uses and has Aevian forms, does have some normal pokemon. Namely her starter, her Samurott. And a Pikachu. (There's more but I'm not fully 100% planning out her team until 13.5 comes out...)

-shes loves her Paras Shroomy so so very much!! It's managed to become one of her favorite pokemon and friends. She never obtained Xen Waste tho so it forever will stay a Paras.

-also has an Aevian Snorunt that is mostly a friend and likes being held! It also likes being squished like a stress ball.

-i don't have a specific Headcanon for what her type is but regardless she is sapphic to me. Sorry.

Fun fact: AF Aevia's Aevian Ampharos is a little thief. Whether it uses a plan to do so or just uses the Fluffy Sheep Charm, it tries to steal incredibly unhealthy junk like monster energy and the like to consume in seconds.

It really abuses having Filter as an ability with these things. Everytime Aevia looks away the sheep has swindled something...

Does anyone ever think its weird that AF Aevia goes around with real actual wings. Do random trainers ever ask her if she's in cosplay? God forbid, does anyone ever see her flying through the sky?! She's standing on top of a sky scraper in GDC at night and then dives off to do some cool intercepter shit!

Aevia has a Zoroark who she has disguise her wings in public! Though if she is every seen with her wings she probably would just say they're cosplay (and hope no one looks too closely)

How often does AF Aevia get hugged? How often does she give hugs? What are her views on when people should and shouldn't hug?

She's generally only comfortable getting hugged with those she's close too. In general when Aevia is close to someone she tends to be physically affectionate, especially with holding hands, but getting hugs she mostly only wants from like. Her GFs and close friends.

She does however like holding hands a lot with friends! It helps ground her, and helps with her anxiety a lot. She may have gotten more confident over the course of her journey, but she's still Aevia.

What's AF Aevia's relationship with Nancy and Tesla like? The player had Nancy as their mother and Tesla as someone who is basically like a mother who offered them a new home, but all of that would surely be different for Aevia.

Being an orphan and the attachment of her being a teacher made Aevia attach to Nancy quite a bit actually! (Something. Crescent was right about actually) so even if unlike a normal Rejuv MC Aevia already knew she wasn't related to Nancy, she was happy to view her as a mother figure regardless.

And the same thing goes for Tesla! Just obviously without the previous familiarity like with Nancy.
