Hey-! Hi, uhm. So, I recently came to the conclusion that I may be Bigender, but I have no idea where to go from there. I know what my two genders are as well, Male and Female and I show signs from both, mostly on separate days. Uhm, sometimes I panic if I don't feel like I look Male, bc I do have a female's body. I'd just like some personal tips for a plus sized Bigender person, please.

Hi there! I’m bigender male/female AFAB as well, so there are some things I might be able to give tips on, especially for days when I’m mostly male.

I don’t know if you have short hair or not, but for me, I don’t have short hair because when I want to look female, I prefer long hair, but I do have a sort of mullet so I can tie my hair back and it makes it look like I have short hair.

I don’t bind (I might in the future, but for now I don’t) but I have a large chest (D cups) so to make it less obvious, I usually wear sports bras and baggy clothes (sweatshirts, jackets, etc.). Layers as well. But if you want to bind and do it safely, I would recommend it to make large chests less obvious. I have a pretty stereotypically female body (hourglass, large chest, on the shorter side height-wise) so it can be a bit difficult on days where I want to present male, but I’ve noticed people tend to pay attention to my face more than my body, so I try to make my face look more masculine on those days. Once, I was wearing a skirt and a regular bra but at the time I had short hair, and someone called me “gentlemen,” so I do believe facial features matter in that context.

I also weight lift for muscles. Usually, I focus on arms and shoulders to get a more masculine look.

On days where I present male, I usually don’t wear makeup, but if I do, I make it so it accentuates more masculine features like thicker eyebrows and more prominent nose bridge.

I think posture and mannerisms help too, but it’s usually a pretty natural thing. Like on male days, I tend to walk and sit a different way.
