Odds on AFHF not/happening this year? 😭 im so desperate for him to announce surely we will get more than the 3 festivals right? Right?? 😭

Hi anon, sorry for the late response I wanted to share the dates of the festival annoucements with the dates of the shows so we give an idea of timelines:

AFHF London 2021: Annoucement July 29th & show August 30th.

AFHF Spain 2022: Annoucement June 8th & show August 27th.

AFHF Italy 2023: Annoucement May 25th & show August 19th.

AFHF México 2024: Annoucement March 30th & show June 8th (they tease the poster without place on the 28th).

So for what I see he tends to annouce almost a month before the show approx., sometimes more and usually the annoucements are between the end of May-July. México was an exception because he wanted to do promo when he visit for the Tecate Pa'l Norte.

I do think he will do it this year, seems like he has been consistent so far with the festival, unless something else happens or he has other plans, time will tell. But nothing to worry about it for now.

It does seems for what he has said in interviews that it's something he want to keep doing & make it more bigger, he wants to do more that 1 day for the festival, keep choosing different locations around the world, etc.
