A summary would be a glorious thing. I figured that if I stalked the right tags and skimmed a lot I'd be able to get the hang of most of it before summer break ends, which is depressingly soon. But a summary would make me love you forever.
I can only really tell you what's happened since Little Wally and I made our accounts. Obviously, the olders have been at it a lot longer than us. We just made our accounts and started, and big wally fell in love with us because we're so cute ;D Thus our dysfunctional family was born! (well, more like their pre-existing one was extended)
In the shortest way I can think of to explain...
When we first started out, Rob liked Wally but never wanted to tell him because he didn't want to risk losing the friendship. So a few patrols happened and typical team shenans when one day, Wally found out that Rob had a crush on someone and got really angry because they're best friends and Rob should've told him first.
Rob tried to avoid answering the question, but ended up getting guilted into it, confessed it was Wally, and ran off on patrol. Radio silence.
Wally kept calling and calling and Rob finally spoke to him, and Wally told him to come over and talk. They spoke about things and Wally decided to try and kiss Rob. And he liked it. A lot.
So they start dating and it turns out to be a great thing for both of them. Fast forward a bit, and one day, Rob got M!Ad into a 3 year old, and KF a 5 year old. KF got turned back into his actual age earlier than Rob, and he witnessed some serious Bruce and Dick father-son cuteness. Unfortunately, he got turned back into his actual age naked. Bruce saw him, and in Wally's nerves, he wrote out his last words to everyone, accidentally confessed to their entire relationship in front of Bruce when he got to the part to Rob. (Which was about their relationship being the best thing that ever happened to him, and that if he had to go, he wished it had been whilst making out instead of getting killed by Bats)
Obviously, Bruce didn't take that well. They spoke to Bruce in his office and he decided that Rob was too young and inexperienced to have a relationship and that this "love" wasn't real. Offended, Dick argued. And said that there was no way to GAIN experience unless he was permitted to HAVE experiences. Bruce put his foot down on the relationship, insisting they break up at once. Robin left the manor that very day, and Barry took him to Big Wally and Nightwing's place. He's been there since.
Wally had also been there. During the period between them getting together and the Bruce fiasco, KF was having some serious issues at home. He kept telling himself that it was temporary, and that it would all blow over if he was good. But it didn't. His parents were taking out financial and marital stresses on their son, and it turned to physical quickly.
Rob found out after a heated makeout session ended with Wally yelling at him for tugging on his shirt a little. Rob was seriously embarrassed, but it wasn't because Wally didn't want to show some skin for him. It was because he had bruises all over his body and didn't want Rob to see and get worried. Concerned, Rob went to the olders for advice and Nightwing told him to keep an eye on Wally and watch out for bruises, because if his home life was anything like big Wally's, then his father was probably hitting him.
Robin freaked out and started looking for the warning signs, and found them quickly. When he confronted Wally, though, it ended poorly. The redhead's pride was completely shattered and he was angry at Dick for finding out. And he told him he wanted to deal with it on his own and that it'd go away.
After a bit of thinking and talking it out (indirectly) with Barry and big Wally, he realized it was NOT his fault and that it wasn't going to change, and agreed to move in with the olders.
So now both of the kids live with the olders.
Things were going well, they had been together a long time, and recently progressed farther on the physical level. (after an embarrassing "talk" from Barry involving puppets, and a more informative one from older Wally.) The olders took the youngers to look at a house in keystone, inviting them to come with them when they moved in. The kids had, until that point, felt like burdens to the olders. Upon hearing they actually wanted them around, they agreed and there was a big group hug.
Barry bought the olders the house as a gift for their engagement.
Everything was going fairly well. Robin is slowly, but surely starting to talk to Bruce again. He drew him a picture for father's day and everything. The family was getting set to move to keystone.
Now, a few days ago, KF was assigned to go on a mission with Aqualad. Things had been slow for them on the mission front, since Batman is their dispatcher and he was not too thrilled with either of them. Wally was eager to get in on the action again. He told Robin, and they realized how much harder everything was going to be now that they're together. It was so much harder for Robin to see Wally go and so much harder for Wally to drag himself out and leave Dick behind.
The mission went fairly well. A simple weapons smuggling bust. Low-level thugs. Muscle for hire type guys. Easy-peasy. KF eagerly commented that maybe they'd even be home by the next morning so he could see Robin.
That's where it all went wrong.
KF sped off after a guy who attempted to flee the scene, and got him to the ground. As he stood over the guy to radio Kal, he got hit in the neck with a dart. He got woozy and went down. Suddenly a bunch of shoes were in front of him, and he passed out.
Now, imagine Robin's horror when Aqualad returned to the cave, and KF was nowhere to be seen. Kal broke the news to him and he handled it with a steely gaze. They made plans to rescue the speedster, but he was absolutely devestated on the inside.
His worry and pain is growing every single minute that passes, because the longer it takes to find him, the more of a chance he might already be dead. He doesn't want to think like that. His Robin training is telling him not to be a fool and to think realistically, but Dick wants to believe that he's okay.
He hasn't been eating, and his sleep has been seriously limited. He dozed off for an hour or so after crying the other night, and he slept some last night on Bart's shoulder after serious convincing and comfort. He refuses to stop working for the most part. Tracking leads to find his missing best friend.
And now you're caught up to where we are now! Wow, guys! It's been a hell of a ride, huh? And this is pretty condensed @.@; Writing this all out gave me srs family feels ;~; I love you all~
I probably missed a lot oops))
